About

Megan Freshley is a queer poet based in Cincinnati, OH. She is a graduate of the Portland State University MFA program, Blue Iris Mystery School, and the Esalen Institute. Her poems and essays have appeared in Stay Wild, Witch Craft, b l u s h, and others. She was a 2013 recipient of the Academy of American Poets Prize and a 2018 Airstream Poetry Festival fellow. Her first chapbook, Hypnic Jerk, won the Tiny Fork Chapbook contest at The Hunger Press and was published in 2021. She is currently working on her full-length debut.
